I need help putting together a list of things i need to pack to get ready for the hospital.....keep in mind I have a three year old, a one year old, the new baby and my husband and me to pack for. I have to have a C-section no matter what. But they are going to wait until i go in to labor to deliver me.

I had a c-section and the first day or two the make you keep the cathador in so you will need some gowns and a robe. You also will want a pair of house shoes. You won't be able to move around much the first couple of days. it will also be hard to lift your legs and to sit up. You can bring something to read while the baby is asleep. You will also want to bring a pacifier and alot of clothes for the baby to wear. You will also want to have an outfit for you to go home in. You will want some shower stuff as well. You won't be able to take a shower the first day I couldn't the second day either because i wasn't aloud out of bed. So good luck

I would have to say that everyone else pretty much gave you the list. The only thing that I ended up sending my husband to the store for was underwear. I didn't pack enough. Because even after having our daughter my bladder was still in pregnancy mode.

Congratulations to you.

Nighty/ PJ's
underwear
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Book(s)
Favourite pillow
Music
List of people to call

?1 change of day clothes maybe

I don't know if you want to bother with anything for the 3yo and 1yo but some people do.

Hospital should have towels and facewashers and stuff readily available. Many will have sufficient nappies for you to cope with until you can gauge the size of the nappies you need.

Bottles? You are going to breast feed, surely :-)
