Yes - it is possible you could be pregnant.

If you are concerned (and perhaps you should be if you are experiencing changes to the feeling of your breasts) then you could take a pregnancy test.

I guess it is also possible that you are not pregnant and your breast soreness is due to something else.

You could wait and see if your period is late but ultimately the only way you are going to be sure is to take a test. If your last sexual intercourse was 6 weeks ago, that should be plenty of time to have developed a positive beta-HCG level (the level of the pregnancy hormone) for a urine test to detect.

Dear IWannaBeAMommy,

It looks like you may be getting your wish. From what you are describing it sounds like you are pregnant. Here are the usual early pregnancy signs so you can see if you have other symptoms:

mIssed period or a period different than usual, swollen/tender breasts, fatigue/tiredness, nausea/morning sickness (can happen any time of day), lower backaches, headaches,
frequent urination, darkening of areolas, and food cravings or aversions.

Remember that these symptoms are also symptoms of other things. You could be experiencing a hormone imbalance and that would give you symptoms that mimick pregnancy.

If you can't afford to take a test for two more weeks you have a couple of choices. 1) Go to a free clinic (at this point, you should have enough pregnancy hormone to take a urine test) or 2) Wait till payday and if still no sign of your period, just get an ultrasound. If you are pregnant they'll be able to see the embryo and heartbeat. If you're not pregnant, they might be able to see what is going on with your periods.

Good luck.

Yes you could be pregnant... That is one of the 1st signs.. Get a pregnancy test... Remember it is the the end of the world. Yes you were smart to use a condom, but that is not 100 per cent safe as you found out.... Please do not be scared, it is not like you are 12 or 13 years old, you are 18... You will be fine...The plus of this is also after you have a baby, a lot of times the period cramp are not as bad... So keep your head up. You will make it...

Definitely sounds like signs of pregnancy.....First Response Early can detect pregnancy 4 days before a period is due, but there is also a chance for a false neg...Test with first morning urine, it is the most concentrated and you will get better results! Good Luck!

Well, Happy birthday tomorrow........but I think you should get a home pregnancy test for your gift.........You may end up with more too.....Yes, there is always a risk of pregnancy when you have sex, protected or not......and yes, no matter what your age is, pregnancy is scary but it is also very rewarding.....there is no gift in the world like giving birth to a baby.

it form of feels no longer likely.. From what I understand (this is been a protracted time considering that Human progression type) the reason women people have classes is to scrub the lining of the uterus to supply the suitable attainable 'domicile' to a fetus.. while you're pregnant, that lining could be in use, so in case you have been to have a era, it might could be extremely easy,, nonetheless, in case you think of you're pregnant, this is a speedy attempt the two on the physician's place of work or from the drugstore..

It is a possibility. Some home pregnancy test can detect if you pregnant fairly early on. You should head out to a drug store and get one.

You're probably very scared right now, so just keep taking deep breaths and try to relax.

From my experience, it does sound like you're pregnant. The painful breasts and queezy stomach are pretty good signs. Go to the store and buy a test to be sure. If it comes back negative, buy one around the 21st if you don't get your period before.

Now, is there someone you can talk to? Your mom? Best friend? Boyfriend? You need someone to talk to who'll listen and not judge you. (You're probably going to get a lot of haters on here. Just shrug 'em off. They aren't in your situation and they aren't scared out of their minds.)

If you aren't pregnant, you might visit a planned parenthood clinic to get on birthcontrol. If you are, there are options. Abortion being one of them. Hang in there. Be strong. You'll be okay. Good luck...
