I'm thinking about getting an arcade machine. I want to save electricity and not keep it on all the time. So i'd only turn it on if i wanted to play it maybe 2 times a day. Would this be bad for the machine turning it on and off all the time Thanks

From your name I am going to guess your going to get a Golf game (golden tee) great game. Yes you can apply power and take power away as you wish as long as you don't do it rapidly. I have had games plugged in to a power strip that was plugged to a switched outlet for years with no problem. You may also find that leaving the game on from the time you get home from work till you go to bed economical also. The power consumption is very low on most games.

That would be ok, it shouldnt cause any damage, I thing though...if its an old arcade machine (like an old Streetfighter one or something) your scores will be lost when you turn it off, newer ones (or remakes of older ones) will be fine though

I think it's just called a grabber, and they are fixed, they actually have a magnet in, so if you watch, it's programmed every sort of 5 goes, and the magnet at the top of the grabber, picks the cuddly toy up, which also has a magnet, so wait four goes and you'll win.

Twice a day isn't bad for arcades

As long as you don't turn it on and off within minutes
