Where are the best places to have summer vacations?

I'm looking for the most perfect place for our family of four to go on a vacation. We love to fish and spend time in the out doors. my children are 13 and 11, a girl(13) and a boy (11)!!!

How about the Sierra Nevada? There are lots of lakes to fish in, and lots of outdoors to enjoy.

There is of course Lake Tahoe, which has fabulous hotels in Stateline NV as well as great beaches and hiking.

Another great place I have been is the Gold Lakes area, north of highway 80. They have campsites as well as small lodges, and gorgeous scenery.
