Blue/gray eyes seem to pick up on what ever color is around them. Mine are gray, and depending on my makeup or outfit, they will look gray, green or blue.
I tend to use natural tone eye shadows, shades of brown, tan, gray, charcoal. Black eyeliner and mascara. Mauve blushes and lipsticks. Translucent or light powders and foundations.
I get complimented on my makeup (when I wear it). But it is not unusual for me to go "natural" with just some face moisturizer.
What you could do is look at photos of celebrities, find one with similar skin tone, eye color and hair color, see which "look" you like best and copy it. Certain looks work for certain functions, too. Like, makeup for work isn't usually the same as makeup for a night out on the town, and neither is usually what you'd see while hiking out on a mountain trail.

I have blue eyes, and everything i wear is either brown or black. people will try to tell you taht wearing blue makeup makes blue eyes look, well, bluer, but that's not true. i think it makes eyes look like a giant blob of blue. Not pretty...but that's my opinion. I'd stick w/ the blacks and browns. All light brown shadow and brown mascara will look more natural, while blacks and darker browns (what I wear) lokk more "made up.' Hope that helps!

They say a light color like a light purple or a champagne color will make your eyes glow. It'll really bring the blue out. That's all I know from personal experience. I hope it helps.

you should stay with smokey purples and brown eyeshadows to make your blue eyes bluer. Eyeliner in a plumwood (Estee' Lauder), mascara in brown-black. A beautiful eye starts with a groomed eyebrow. Waxing is key.
