Some people tell me that it is god crying when it rains or when it rains it is a blessing too ...
It's weird cause someone close to me passed away recently and on the day of his passing it rained, the day of his funeral it rained and the day of spreading his ashes and he loved the weather when it rained to so it was extra spooky ! : )

It means that the atmosphere is losing the moisture that it previously held at a different temperature and barometric pressure.

rain is rain until you see it diferently. I understand where you are coming from with how it's all raining on the days where a loved one is being remembered. In my case a friend of mine died in an accident on a friday when it was raining. It was also the first of the month and for almost the entire year following every first of the month and every friday it rained. That's all i think about when it rains. But the idea of GOD crying is said to be his tears going to comfort those who believe and he weeps for the living because they are so far from home. Yet the tears thought of in sorrow are really a blessing upon you if you let them in. it washes the sould and purifies the mind...if you belive in such things...

It means you are going to get wet. It is not uncommon for it to rain during a funeral, and certainly it reflects the mood of the group, gray and crying. Yes, rain is a symbol of blessing too, rain is a symbol of fertility, and it's crucial for raising a good crop. If it rains on your wedding day, that is supposed to be a good omen...

It means that there was too much humidity for the atmosphere to hold at that particular temperature, so the moisture condensed and formed droplets of rain which fell to the ground.
