Yeah, some of that Rx stuff is so outrageously priced and if you can get away with samples, go for it.

when my dads work burnt down and he no longer had benefits my doctor would give me samples of certain medicines that were really expensive....but no longer since my dad is back working and I've moved out.
I never asked for the samples though, he's ask if my dad was back working and I'd tell the truth which was no so he'll always say "I'll be right back" and he'd come back with a little bag of some meds.
Everytime I switch birth control pills I get 1 pack free. They do that for everyone though. It's a trial pack to see if you like them.

I couldn't tell you the last time I took a prescription drug. They say MILLIONS of dollars could be saved if people tried samples before going to the pharmacy.

I've never asked, but I have had a doctor give me a sample if birth control pills once. Turns out I can't take them anyway.

Yup. Just last week. I had picked up a script at the store, then somehow lost it within a few days. So I called her and she gave me samples that she had in her office so I wouldn't have to pay for a new one.

Yes...and i've gotten lots of stuff that way. Just ask since they get the samples for that reason!

No. In fact, when he gives me the samples, I give them back to him, and have him write me a script instead. I have him give the freebies to someone with no insurance. I'd like to see more people do the same thing.

No. I don't take prescription drugs. I'm not having some guy or woman practice on me for the drug companies. 90% of drug related deaths are by prescription drugs.
