I agree. We should have subcategories within subcategories. Overall, comics and animation, then within that, Comic books, Japanese animation, European animation, American animation, Newspaper strips, other. (Although I’ll also bet that some brain dead fanboy or other will still put his question in the wrong category.)
Well, Yahoo Monitors…? Are you LISTENING…?
How do we petition these guys? Do we have to cause trouble to get their attention? I’ll report the question for a ‘violation’ if you think it will help. I’ve tried directing questions and suggestions about YA to the Yahoo products section before and got nowhere.

My suggestion is too keeping asking this question. I agree that anime should have it's own section but I am pretty sure the Answers Staff will only create a subcategory if there is enough volume of people with questions and answers in that section. Just for the record, I love anime and marvel/dc comics. I do think it would help get rid of some confusion in this section.

Uh, yeah-ah. Sounds great to me. Having to wade through the Naruto questions to find the things I'm interested in is rather annoying.
...I've been trying to figure out why there are so many more anime/manga questions than there are American superhero (for lack of a better term) questions in this forum, too. While I understand that YA is an international forum, I would expect that the biggest population on the English version is American, with significant groups of Indians, Aussies, Canadians, and Brits. I'm truly surprised at how many more people on YA are interested in anime/manga than American comics. Are there really that many American teenager into anime? Or is it all the Indians? What gives? ...OK, now I'm just going to have to post a question about this. It's buggin' me.

I thought this too...
I like Naruto too, it is for kids, and it really has a cute little story line (or at least the bit of it I saw did), but it would be nice to discuss something else here.
You should understand though that there are a lot of little kids on here (not too little) or people who don't know the breadth of anime....They see Naruto and like it and it is the world of anime for them...
But I agree...

There should be a anime section.
Naruto used to be good, but not any more. Any episodes above 75, it's boring!

There should be a BUNCH of subsections I think. So you can have Marvel and then even have subsection of Spidy, etc. That'd make everything a lot easier but until that time comes at least you can do searchs for questions.
