Being a Wings fan i hope so but being a realist I know the Flames arent going to lay down for the Wings. They got embarrassed and will fight back at home to redeem themselves. I can see the Wings taking 1 of 2 games in Calgary and coming home to finish the job but the Flames have talent and heart so expect them to come out flying next game. Hopefully Bertuzzi can go because we may need him out there to stop some of the rough stuff, you can be sure the Flames will attack much like the SJ/ Nashville series once they get home hoping to get the Wings off their game. But it is a beautiful thing to see the Dominator out there on top of his game, looks like a great Cup run for sure but they still have to earn it.

No sorry to disappoint you but the wings won't sweep the flames. During the regular season the flames were the only team that had 30 home wins versus 13 road wins. On paper they are better than they were in 2004 when they dumped the wings, however they are playing completely uninspired hockey.
Despite being a die hard flames fan, I would give the Wings more credit, but I can't tell if its because they are playing well or just because Calgary is playing so terrible. I predict Wings in 5. Possibly a coaching change in Calgary before next game too.

You need to get your smelling checked if you think the Red Wings will be able to defeat the Flames at home twice in a row, especially since the Flames had more home wins this season then any other team.

By the way, are you not worried that the Red Wings pp went 1-8 yesterday, with 3 3 on 5's, and scored only 3 goals on 51 shots?

Calgary has been really disappointing.

I don't think they'll sweep but I don't see the Flames having much of a chance of winning 4 out of 5 games against the Wings, they're hot right now!

The Flames will win at least 1 but probably not more than 2.

Too bad for Iginla--love that guy.

No sweep. Detroit has done nothing yet beyond winning at home. Calgary is too good at home to drop two in a row.

Detroit eventually wins the series, yes, but not in four.

I think the wings will finish them off. I missed the first period but Calgary looked HORRIBLE the 2nd and 3rd. Are they really that bad?? How the hell did they make the playoffs playing like that?? Hull and Ferraro were talking about their road record on the post game ... did they say 14 road wins all year or was it 15?? .. anyway they better pick it up or there will be lots of them in new uniforms next season

Calgary is playing horrible. Could easily be a sweep, but the Flames usually play better at home.

I think the Wings will win the series but I don't think they will sweep Calgary.

Calgary will win the first game at home.

Sweep: yes.
Calgary sucks: yes.

Calgary looked like a bunch of amateurs today. They should just forfeit the rest of the series.

Wings win the series? yes
Sweep? no

I think Calgary will win one game, probably the 4th game, but then the wings will come back to take the series.

Detroit in 5
