Other than taking your fish to the local fish store, and yes they will keep your fish for you and you do not have to get new ones, and you don't have a friend to watch them, you can always put the tank in the frig. Lowering the temperatures below 50 (which the frig is) will not require your fish to eat at all. This is called hybernation. Start this process by not feeding your fish for two days to ensure everything is out of their intestines. Put the tank on the bottom shelf of your frig. It doesn't need a filter either. They will start the hybernation process and become very lethargic and move very slowly.

THis is a good way to keep your goldfish. Once you get home, just remove the tank and allow it to come up to room temperature and start the filter. Your fish will return to normal. Do not feed the first day and only half of the normal feedings for a week.

Good luck.

First off....you have a TON of things going on in this tank. You're getting algae because you're way overstocked. For the 4 goldfish, you'd need a 40 gallon tank (10 gallons per goldie!). Then you added in a pleco. These also add a ton of waste to teh water and can get to over 2 feet long!
Next...you can't leave a tank unattended without water changes and feeding for 3 months.
Third: a black moor is a Group 2 goldfish whereas your comets are in Group 1. They shouldn't be kept together because of aggression issues and because the comets are much faster and will out-compete the moor for food.
You should talk to your neighbourhood fish store and take all of them back. Empty out your tank. Shut it down completely and clean it with a mild bleach/water solution. Then..when you come back, you can start again armed with more knowledge on how to care for the fish :)
At that point, only put in one goldfish. Or if you want a community, put a heater in for a 10 gallon tank and add some tetras or danios, perhaps some cory cats as your clean up crew.

Your tank is severely over populated. A Pleco needs about 30 gallons. The moore about 10-15. The comets need 20 each. Your fish are in a tank 1/10 the size they need.
I'd try to return them to the store. They are not going to survive more than a day or two in these conditions. Doesn't matter if you are going away or not, this is a coffin for so many fish!

Since you know nothing about fish, you shouldn't keep them until you learn how to properly care for them. You need to change 25% of the water every week for starters. Secondly, it is not your pleco's job to remove ALL the algae! YOU have to help him! You need to buy a scraper from your pet store and ask how to properly use it. Third - of course you cannot leave your fish alone for three months. You should just give them to someone who knows how to properly care for them and when you get back - read a few books on fishkeeping, talk to the folks at your local fish store, then start over and do it right. Have fun.

you are panicking-calm down. you have options-have a trusted friend or family member come in and feed the fish and refill evaporated water or do water changes. or buy an automatic feeder (although you might not find one that can handle three months and it can't refill water). or plan your itinerary to stop home every week or two to tend to the tank, even if only for a few hours. i found what successfull cleans algae are snails. in fact, they are downright scary they are so good. i used to buy snail infested plants just to get free snails to clean my tank...well, until i got fossil catfish, which devour snails, but i digress...you cannot put snails in tanks with aquarium salt (not to be confused with salt water-it is often recommended to use a small amount of aquarium salt to reduce stress and certain problems). i would consult a very good aquarium store or a reference book on fish to determine why your comets are chasing each other. one reason could be that there are too few. some fish require enough to make a small school-4 or 5 fish. there could also be territory disputes, dominance fighting or another reason i am missing. if it is a territory dispute, try changing to a larger tank, at least 20 gallons.

you can keep the number of fish you have in a ten gallon tank for longer than a week, but it is not the best thing. one thing is, with the moor-it's a goldfish and it puts out larger amounts of waste than the others. they are pretty, but they will strain your tank. i might suggest removing that one and the others might be okay. a separate tank for the moor would be cool.

You will need to find a friend or family member to keep your fish for you while you are gone. Personally though, considering how over crowded your tank is or will be when these fish start to grow well, I would suggest you take them to a local pet shop and trade them all in for store credit. Explain why you need to do this to the shop owner and then ask if you can come back ofter your vacation to use the credit for fish more suitable for your tank.

You won't have to worry about your fish, no one will have to take care of them for you and you will get a healthier tank when you get back.

Okay, give your fish to a friend and she will tank care of them. Fish can not go 3 months without you there! Not even a week! Give it away, or to a friend.

And they might be mating.

Get a bigger tank and get rid of the goldfish. They increase the nitrate levels in your tank, also try a gravel filter.
