I am a Food TV junkie.
Of the hosts, I enjoy Paula Dean and Alton Brown the most. Paula has that down home favorite aunt/grandma vibe and AB is just Mr. Science meets chef. I love that I get a lesson in science while I learn tasty new dishes! Frysomemore!!
I also like the food challenge shows where they have just seven hours to create some surprise dish, or cake, or chocolate "masterpiece". I feel so sorry for them when the poo hits the fan and it just goes all wrong.

I like Emeril, I like Rachel Rays 30 minute meals, But I guess I liked the old Justin Wilson show on PBS the best - ooohhhhh man oh man - that cajun talk - he was great!!!!!

i'm a fan of Food Network too, but i don't like Emeril, especially his live show. it's too flashy and looks like he's trying to be Jay Leno.
my favorite shows are Unwrapped, Everyday Italian, and sometimes $40 a day. i can't cook at all, but i just like to watch them cook.

WHen I had cable- I loved Emeril. I also like Paula - but only because we shared the same name. Sometimes her deep southern drawl got next to me and I couldn't listen to her for long.
