Yes-not first amendment right issue at all-not the government taking the action-firing somebody is a first amendment right -it makes a statement--and anyone who gets off on insults, mean trash talk, and hate needs to see the bankruptcy of their life. And should be fired by any decent business.

So I am exercising my first amendment right to agree we should kick these sickos off the air and let them write letters to the editor about how unfair life is.

Although I do feel that degrading rap track is a concern, my pal Snoop Dogg has made a few very legitimate elements at the dilemma. Read this a pair hours in the past, I consider it explains it good (attempt to seem at it from a sensible factor of view, however besides, yeah carry at the hate): Snoop speaking approximately the latest Imus drama: "(Rappers) aren't speaking approximately collegiate basketball women who've made it to the following degree in schooling and physical games. We're speaking approximately hos that is within the 'hood that ain't doing s**t, that is looking to get a n**ga for his cash. These are 2 separate matters. First of all, we ain't no historical-*** white guys that take a seat up on MSNBC going rough on black women. We are rappers that experience those songs coming from our minds and our souls which can be critical to what we believe. I is not going to allow them to muthaf**kas say we're within the identical league as him. Kick him off the air without end." Freedom of speech in America...

In answer to your question, I have to add that it makes me sad any time someone looses their job for any reason, especially over a very stupid comment. I think that we as a people need to learn how to be more cordial to one another and while we think that race is not an issue anymore, some of the recent activities tell us that there are some people who feel free to say things that they probably hear from other cultures and think it's okay. This is a wakeup call that all of us - black and white need to be more cognizant of the names we call each other and ourselves. I agree, the rapper talk is filthy. We need to learn to respect each other more and get rid of these 'words' that separate and destroy.

Sure. But don't stop there. Ban EVERYONE who says things you don't like. And don't just get rid of them. Make an event of it. Perhaps put them in jail, or maybe even hang them. And to make it really entertaining, gather up lots of books with all kinds of nasty things in them, and have a really big book-burning!

Sure, there's that annoying First Amendment business, but there's got to be a way around it if all the fascists get together and fight it!

Yikes.

NO I disagree- don't you see that everything that is censored slowly takes away YOUR rights?

You may come across a thing that you like to do or watch or listen to that may get censored.

Then you will feel like a child that is not given a choice on what to do.
