my convert layed eggs and now they are gone but the male and female is protacting a nother cave but i cann't see in to this one . so i was just wondering how long does it take for the eggs to hatch ???? and how long will it take befor she will bring out the fry to swim with the other ones plase let me know thanks .....

my convert layed eggs and now they are gone the last time i saw them they were a dark brown but now they are gone . but the male and female is protacting a nother cave but i cann't see in to this one . so i was just wondering how long does it take for the eggs to hatch ???? and how long will it take befor she will bring out the fry to swim with the other ones plase let me know thanks .....

if the convert layed eggs and they did not hatch then it will take few months to lay again

The fry should come out in a week or so. Hatching rates depend on temp,and water conditions. You don't say what else you have in the tank besides a pair of Convicts,so the fry might not be out long enough for them to be seen before they become food for their tank mates.
