I refuse to even look at non-Christian colleges, so I will only even think about Christian ones. I have made a list of ones I considered/am considering....I want to preferably (God may have different plans) go to the south for college. ACTUALLY, I really want to go to Australia for college. That is where I really want to go, I found one Christian college in Australia, it is in Victoria, I am real excited about it, but here are the others I am considering.
Pensacola Christian Academy(not a first pick)
Bob Jones University(not a first pick)
Hardin and Simmons(VERY interested)
Olivet Nazarene (not a first pick, too close to home)
New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
Southwest Bible College
I cannot seem to remember what it is called, but it is in MO, I thought it was Missouri Baptist, but may be wrong...
The one in Australia is called Bible College of Victoria(really, really, really interested.)
That is most of them. If you have any other suggestions for Christian colleges..

I'm choosing a Christian college because I want it to help strengthen my faith, I have a faith that cannot be shaken, but I am going to come straight out of a Christian high school, and I don't want any contradictions in what I've been taught, (the Truth) all of a sudden. Sry, if you can't understand, and I am not one of those people who thinks I am holier than thou, I wish ppl could understand that, I seriously hate my sin so much sometimes, and I am positive I am the worst one ever, so please don't tell me that you think I am going to be sheltered my whole life either. I know and understand the world, and though I am a part of it, I do NOT belong to it, so it doesn't matter if I am sheltered or not...Thanks to the people who haven't tried to bash me in for choosing a Christian college. I know that there are great non-Christian colleges, but that is not what I feel led to. Sry if you were offended by that.

There are Christian colleges that can help you strengthen your faith while you get a good education.

Be aware that some of the colleges on your list have VERY strict rules. Chris Sligh from American Idol was EXPELLED from Bob Jones for attending. . . a Christian rock concert. And PCC is not even accredited, which can make it hard for you to pursue a graduate degree, many different jobs, etc.

If you want to pursue a religious education, that's your decision--but know that there are several different types of Christian schools. Know what you are getting yourself into.

Good luck.

I have heard that Bob Jones is a very strict college, I know a few people in my church who have went there.
I have talked to people about pensacola, and I have heard it is really nice. They also have alot of different majors to choose from. I know there is also Word of life in NY and FL, and Baptist Bible College in PA. Those are the only few I know of. . . But pray to God for guidance on where to go! He will lead you!

I think it is very sad that your faith is so weak you cannot even abide the idea of living in the world. Jesus didnt hide away in a barn with his followers, He went out into the world to witness, to serve others and to speak to all people...

If you don't enter the world, you will never understand His message! There are good Christians in every college - Christians who are not afraid of people or life.

I have to agree with Eri. Why limit yourself and close your mind off from the outside world? There's more to life than religion and the Bible. Trust me, people who live like you want to turn into arrogant, judgmental jerks who act like they're holier than thou.

Don't go down a path of narrow-mindedness and unwillingness to the world from different perspectives. There's far too much out there to close yourself off.

Just choose colleges that you think you would be happy at and that suit your needs as far as size, location, activities, majors, etc. are concerned. princetonreview.com and collegeboard.com have very helpful searches that could help you find Christian colleges that you would be happy at...and just a note....many non-Christian colleges have active Christian groups on campus, so don't limit your options

Go visit them. But I think you're really limiting yourself by only looking at Christian schools. You can't spend the rest of your life ignoring all other points of view, so why spend college doing it?
