Lately I've noticed the Blizzards have only a tiny bit of stuff in them no matter what kind I order and Moo Lattes sometimes have a lot of whipped cream on them and sometimes they don't have hardly any. If I get a caramel one, I have to run it through a sieve to find the caramel. I thought it was just me, but I've been asking and it's happened to a lot of people. I can't see paying those prices for ice milk with hardly anything in it. I can buy real ice cream with more stuff in it for less at the store. So my question is - has anyone else been having these cheapo treats at their DQ?

DQ is famous for cheapening their products while increasing prices.

A few years ago, they made all the Blizzard cups smaller and increased the prices at the same time.

Another cost-cutting measure they use is adding less and less candy/flavor to their treats. In many cases, the managers receive bonuses for going through less and less candy and toppings.

Also, inconsistency (lots of whipped cream sometimes, little others) is why places like Starbucks are so popular - you get exactly the same thing every time no matter what city or state or who makes our drink. DQ hires idiots who can't follow directions.

Well.. its not only DQ that does it. I mean, any fast food, or ice cream places do that. They know people like the food and will keep going there so they kind of just get away with it unfortunately. It has to be until society starts completely boycotting the product until anyone will stop eating there. Also, its kind of fattening for your health to buy a blizzard and have tons of candy in it, or have a Moo Latte and have too much of whatever they put in those. So at the same time you pay a high price.. but its still kind of worth it..

And there are cheaper things to get at DQ. When my boyfriend and I went there once we got blizzards me and him and it was like $8.00 for ice cream... and then when we went back a different time.. he got an ice cream cone with a cherry hard shell on it and I got a hot fudge sundae and it only costed $4.00. The sundae was pretty big and his cone wasn't bad at all. So DQ really isn't that bad with all of their products.

I quit going to DQ a long time ago. The Buster Bar used to be 3 times the size of the one they sell now. The place is a rip off plain & simple!

Yes this is an ongoing problem. After reading the answer of FF, I will never go there again. This is sick. I hope he gets some in the food he buys at another fast food restuarant. From now on I'll cook my own fast food.

I have noticed that. They are very cheap on the items they put in the blizzard and they are a complete rip off.

I got a blizzard last night. It was a strawberry banana and it was fine. True, there arent many chunks of fruit and such but mine was decent.
