What should an 11 year old girl wear on a field trip to see a special performance of the symphony orchestra?

This is a performance at the Coronado Theater in Rockford Illinois.

It depends on the weather, If it's a nice day then perhaps she can wear a black skirt just a little above the knee, with a pretty top, and ballet flat shoes and maybe a caridigan for when it gets a little cool. If it's cold then dress pants with ballet flats and a long sleve top you could add some colour and keep it young and funky with a scrf around her neck,

My suggestion would be a casual skirt and matching blouse. Another tip would be to ring other parents and ask their advice. and lastly ask the teacher what the school policy is on field trips. they may require a certain dress code. especially if it is a private school. What a nice field trip! If you have a 'girly-girl" she will want to dress up. I like the idea of a black skirt (full) and pink or white frilly blouse with a nice sweater. Matching tights (pink or black) with black patent shoes , maybe a little heel. Ribbons for her hair.
