we all believe things such as heaven, but we do not actually know anything about it. If we think we will go to heaven, then that is where you will go. If you think you will be reincarnated, then you shall. If you think you will feed the trees, then feed the trees you shall. regardless of what your neighbour thinks, your mind and the reality that your mind projects is the only thing that you can consider if you attempt to do so. You see god in your perceived manner, whilst another may see god in their manner. to you, god may be an old chap in a robe, while to another he is a hip swinging guy, or even a fat chubby guy sitting cross legged, or even a multi-apendaged female. they all serve the same purpose, and they all are the same being, deep down. Each one is just a new skin over the same divine creature.

My simple perspective on your question is yes, absolutely.

I believe it does, very much, depend on the intensity of faith/belief that each person has at the moment of dropping the manifested, physical body, but on the whole, that which people believe to be their next experience will become so.

I also believe that this will most likely just be a 'phase', and that after a course of re-adjustment, the entity will re-assume the magnificence of their pre-manifested life existence.

It is surely true that the adjustments between this world, both coming and going, and it's greater counterpart, are quite gruelling at the moment of exeriencing them.

What part of the person is re-incarnated? What part of the person goes to heaven? Souls are a man-made creation. A child must be told they have soul and they choose whether or not they believe this.

If you dwell on the after-life, you will lose a lot of valuable time in this life, the only one you will ever have.

Even if there were an afterlife of some sort, you won't experience this one again, so make the most of it. If there is an afterlife, it will come soon enough.
