Even though olives are grown in orchards, that's not where you are eating. So it's called olive garden because they want you to feel as if you're eating in a garden. Yet the atmosphere is not a garden. It's just a name, don't worry about it, if you like their food, go for it. I personally love their food.

In Greece and Italy and even Spain, where most olives are grown, garden restaurants are necessary. Arbors are built to keep the sun away, with vines growing on them and shade so one can eat outdoors in comfort eight months a year.
The Romans had a garden area with benches in lager houses, where lunch could be brought; the idea has been brought back in restaurants, where I've had some of my favorite meals of all time.

It is named so because of its origins in Tuscany, Italy after a restaurant and a culinary institute there where many culinary managers and chefs further their knowledge of cooking. Much of the cooking also involves using olive oil from the Olive Gardens there.

properly Olive backyard isn't THAT undesirable - despite the fact that that's noisy (like maximum franchise places) yet, as for purple Lobster I actually are transforming into unwell there (and detrimental provider there) this sort of excellent form of situations we do in simple terms no longer bypass there anymore. If out on a romantic date? plenty nicer going to 3 small candy and quiet out of how mom/pop eating place than a huge noisy franchise.
