I think the lens might need cleaned but I got it from Walmart and I don't think they do that plus I have no idea where the reciept is. Is there like a lens cleaning disk I can buy to make it stop skipping

yeah, it sounds like the lens needs cleaning...u can buy the cleaning disc at walmart, target, etc....

it can be that when you play your CDs, the vibration from the speakers of the stereo makes the lens skip reading the disc

yeah, sounds like the lens is dirty. it happens if you play cds you get from the library, which are sort of "dirty". buy a lens cleaner cd.
