It doesn't make any sense. Isn't there a Kentucky song they can play ?

I wondered about that myself and went and researched and found and answer directly from KFC: "We appreciate that you took the time to contact us regarding one of our commercials. We are always happy to hear from our customers. In regards to your question as to why the song “Sweet Home Alabama” is being played in the background of this particular commercial, it is because it's Southern-inspired and that’s what KFC is all about.

This was in response to a letter that the Governor of Kentucky wrote inquiring about the commercial and if KFC was disowning Kentucky.....

Geeze, i've got been questioning that myself. yet in spite of this, "My previous Kentucky domicile" in all danger would not sound too good. via the tiredofcancer, KFC poultry became into invented in Ky. Utah is domicile to the 1st franchise.

Theres no KFC song i dont think...Sweet home Alabama just sounds right. But did you see that person, PETA, boycotting KFC becuase they kill chickens?? and PETA pro? And it was an answer to a question titled "depression."
i guess chickens depress them. so very very sad. ♥

That is a good point. But I think they play it because it is a catchy song.

they could play bluegrass music, but that wouldnt be as catchy
