If Japan was so bad to Koreans in the past, then why do so many Koreans dress like Japanese and act like Japanese? Often they have the same hair styles. Of course the give-away is that Koreans are more messy. But why copy so much?

These days it's kind of the other way around, actually. Korean soap operas and movies are HUGE in other parts of Asia, especially Japan. A lot of Korean pop stars have succeded in the Japanese market.

Japan is seen as the most advanced Asian country & is seen as very progressive. Most Asians still remember the terrible things that happened under Japanese occupation but have moved on.

Why do so many japanese act and dress like americans even though we bombed the crap out of them 50 years ago? It's called trends. They die out eventually.
