Just want to know what you think and tell me how hard does it take for you to cope with it? And how to deal with it? What kind of job can you do?

Deaf people can do pretty much the same things hearing people can, just in a different way.
What's sad is that so many people view deaf people as disabled, or feel sympathetic towards them... when really, they don't even know what they're missing. It's one thing for a hearing person to suddenly go deaf, but it's not quite the "silent world" you all imagine it to be for congenitally deaf people.
What's hard for Deaf people to cope with is the hearing world's inability to accept them (namely their language and culture) and the accommodations they need to make for themselves. Just because they are not hearing like you, that does not mean they need to be fixed to be more like a hearing person.

Well, I suppose I would have a hard time with it at first, if I became deaf. But I'm sure I would get used to it! I am learning sign language right now, so at least I would already know the language and culture! Deaf people can do anything hearing people can do except hear! There is a Deaf Lawyer in my area, my College Prof is Deaf, and there is a Deaf girl in my class who is going to school to be a welder! It depends on the individual I guess, they can do what ever they want. But I guess maybe they wouldn't make the best singers!

I have a friend who is deaf and the only thing difficult is she has to answer the phones and she can't wear her hearing aid when she is on the phone so she finds it difficult but other than that she is fine.

I can't image, but do know that the deaf have their own language/culture & are fully capable of doing most jobs; they are even better at some things especially spaciel (spacial?) perception, etc.

WHAT?...jk that would be hard .you could do cumputer work or marry a rich person that feels bad for you.
