First, check out some of the schools for graphic arts and get a degree. You could skip this but it will likely be more difficult. My brother went to the Pittsburgh Art Institute for animation. Next, look through some trade publications and find the career sites that are listed in there or you can search for them with the search engine of your choice.

Having an raw artistic ability will certainly help but you can learn the mechanics of it too. You'll have to work harder than someone who drawing comes naturally to.
