Please, I see losing Petit as a real loss, but Clemens? Too much money and not enough results from that one. I do feel bad about Lidge, but we all knew this day would come. (After having to watch these last few seasons of decline)

O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D....its true they made it to the WS a couple of years ago (barely) when the rest of the NL were struggling with injuries or with new comers breaking in.
Berkman swings at way too many pitches and is inconsistent...his stats show otherwise but statistics are misleading...why doesn't he deliver more clutch performances when the team needs him the most???
Why the hell did htye get rid of Willy Tavares???? You guys need speed and with a bunch of washed out lazy guys how are they gonna move forward???
Ensberg has a huuuuge hole in his swing...they need to get rid of him. its admirable that they're keep biggio but come on, you know he's hurting you more than he is contributing. He would be an excellente off the bench player but not a starter who can play 4-5 games a week.
Everett is a good defensive player but a very week offensive contributor.
Luke Scott is good. I like him, they should play him more often.
Lidge is messed up since the moonshot he gave up to pujols. I don't like wheeler that much, they should use qualls as the closer...i think he's more stable and reliable.

The Astros suck because they don't have enough experience yet. Carlos Lee, Lance Berkman, Roy Oswalt, and Brad Lidge are good cornerstones.
This franchise is in a tough spot, considering they have players in their primes, but also players that need to be developed in order to contend.
It just isn't mixing right now. Wandy Rodriguez and the rest of the young pitchers they have will have their ups and downs. This just happens to be a down spot.

They arent winning because of many reasons 1.Lack of a good closer 2.They cannot hit, thier team batting average is .233 3.No Clemens and Petite anymore.

It all comes down to pitching. When you lose a pettite and a clemens all at once thats a pretty hard hit.Seems to me that they have some rebuilding years ahead of them.

Just finding their groove,Berkman,Biggio, and Burke have not been Killer Bee's;it's early, if this was the last 2 months of the season I would be concerned, I'm not now.

I think they arent doing well right now because they have great pitching but their offense isnt backing them up enough.
