I am pro-choice all the way, to me a fetus is not a real human being until it can support its own life and breathe without the mother's breath. (After the lungs develop, that's a life) So to me it's not killing a life.
I feel that people should, of course, make responsible choices and think before having unprotected sex but sometimes sh*t happens and somebody ends up pregnant, if they really feel that they cannot support a baby, why not give them the chance to abort. It will keep them from trying to end their life, trying to give themselves an abortion and hurting themselves and so on...did you know that an abortion done professionaly is safer than a tooth extraction and only takes 15 minutes?
I say if a girl feels safe enough with giving a baby up for adoption, by all means let them, but if you ask me, i just couldn't see myself giving my child away, if i'm going to go through the labor and birth of a baby, I want to keep it, and I would only want to keep it if I'm out of school and ready to support the child.
There are just some circumstances where abortion is the only choice. If a girl was raped or molested, I think abortion should automatically be in the picture, esp. if it was by a family member.
...I'm anti partial birth abortion, where they kill the baby as it's being born...

It is not murder because if you get an abortion early on the baby is just an embrio, just like eggs that you buy from the grocery store. You do not need anyones approval for this.... it is all your choice, if you chose to give it up for adoption, after the birth of the baby the female most likely will become attached, and there is no point in bringing a baby into a world where it wont know its real parents, or in a bad situation. It is just wrong. If you, or you partner do not want the baby then the best choice is abortion.

I am pro-choice. No-one has the right to tell a woman what to do with her body. However i don't agree it should be used as a birth control method, but it happens all over the world and people are just going to live with it. All the protest wont change a thing. every time this question gets asked there are many women who are against it and many who are pro-choice. Its a very touchy subject.

Abortion is a serious topic, as you can see by all your responses!!! I personally agree with them and think it is a form of murder BUT on the other hand, if it has to be done for the BABY'S sake then fair enough, i just hate those people that about themselves, like they wont be able to go out or drink for the next 9 months! That, i beleive is selfish without a doubt! If you want the pleasure you take the responsibility for your actions!

Personally I wouldn't have one, but than again I don't feel it is my right to tell others what to do with their own body. If girls use it as a form of birth control I think it is wrong, especially when so many different forms of birth control are easily obtained. If a young girl was molested or a woman raped I don't feel that it is necessarily wrong. That is my opinion.

I wouldn't tell anyone what to do and I don't judge women for doing it. I am pregnant right now, so obviously it isn't what I would choose to do.

I think abortion is wrong. Looking at it from a religious point of view, God created life so I don't think no one has the right to take life except for God. The same thing goes for capital punishment in my opinion. Looking at it from a regular point of view I still think it is wrong. Why not try adoption? Anything is better than taking an innocent childs life.
