The handicapped system isn't perfect, but I don't believe people should use these spaces unless they have handicapped tags. To the person who asked, "What about the people with handicapped plates..." we often don't know the whole story. So you shouldn't worry about their doing the right thing. You should just do what you're supposed to do, and that's to not park in a handicapped zone unless you're handicapped.

I don't glower, I turn'm in. That's one area where I DO report people. And I'll block them in til the cops get there. Most handicapped people (men at least) are people who served our country.

I was at Pizza Hut when someone parked in the handicapped space. a war veteran stopped him at the door and asked him if he was handicapped. he said he wasn't so the vet really laid into him. the guy went out and moved his truck. I wanted to cheer.

no for 2 reasons....i know many people that have heart conditions that need the spots. But on the other hand the able bodied person may be protesting the infringement of his/her rights to park near the building.

My Dad would park in the handicap spots because he had the sign for my grandpa, and it would annoy me so much! They're there for the people that need them.
