A tattoo would hurt a lot more than a nose-piercing.
I haven't had my cartilage pierced but I know people who have. Cartilage piercings can hurt quite a bit and take longer to heal than most other piercings.
I have my nose pierced and it was nearly painless.
The piercer just cleans the area, lets you pick out a stud and pokes the needle through. What little pain there is only lasts for about two seconds and afterwards you don't feel much of anything...just a little pinchy i guess. They'll probably give you a salt-water solution to take care of it with and you can also do warm water or chamomile soaks.
The cost was somewhere around $40.
summarized : both tattoos and cartilage piercings hurt more than a nose-piercing
However, pain is different for everyone so be wary of that.
Hope this helps =]

the tattoo would truly hurt worst, the process which is used to tattoo is a needle process which Perice the skin to apply the colors this process can take several hours depending on the the design of the tattoo . Nose piercing on the other hand is done with a gun like device which is very quickly and causes minimal amount of pain..... Since you've already had piercings the care of and cost you should be familiar with nose piercing would cost the same as an ear and it should be cleaned with an antiseptic 3X's daily.

Piercings only hurt for a second and if you decide you don't want it you can take it out. But if you get a tattoo it hurts worse for a lot longer time and last a lifetime. Tattoos heal in about a week but cost a lot more than piercings.

I have my cartilage pierced in a single ear and my Industrial performed within the different ear. I received the cartilage piercing performed whilst I was once sixteen with a piercing gun, which was once a nasty mistake. Don't get your cartilage pierced with a gun as it will possibly shatter the cartilage and rationale extra ache and slower remedy time than crucial. It took months to heal wholly. I've had not anything however challenge with my cartilage piercing and I've had it for four years now. It will get inflamed and has additionally built scar tissue. I received my Industrial performed professionally with a needle and it has under no circumstances as soon as had a unmarried quandary, and simplest harm for approximately a pair weeks once you have it performed.

a tattoo hurts more, but it`s definitely bearable...a nose piercing doesn`t hurt at all, it`s over very quickly, whereas the tattoo is gonna be an uncomfortable feeling for the duration of the tattooing process...
