Hey, just learn how to play instead of running your mouths and MAYBE, you can make a move. Their hatred surely stems from NEVER winning a super bowl on their skimpy two showings there. The almighty Steelers have been there 6 times, and we got 5 rings, so there puddy cats. They talk alot of crap, but CANNOT back it up at all. Keep letting your piehole run Chad Johnson, you give us a lot of laughs here in Steel town. And as far as Carson goes, he is a BIG disappointment and they know it, he can NEVER deliver in a clutch, as was seen when the Steelers shut them down at the end of this last season. The Steelers had an off season, but they have nothing to prove to anyone. So kittens, what are you going to do this year. Let me make a prediction: LOSE TO THE STEELERS!! So whaddup sports fans?

Wow, how insightful, because it's so easy to hate the Steelers, what a genius. Thanks for that news flash. And because of people like me. What, a fan? I guess that does make a little sense. My question is based on Palmer's saying he really hated the Steelers. Why, because he cannot shake them loose.
And I sympathize most with the guy saying they are fair weather fans there.
And then, "Another idiot Steeler fan". What? That's all, oh how deep and meaningful. I am a Steeler fan, but no idiot am I. I have spent decades following them through thick and thin, and I don't jump on the bandwagon when things just look good.

You are not merely being a fan. Being condescinding is not a requisite of being a fan. Your opening statement was ment to insult. Were you somehow provoked into making comments like this or was it spontaneous? You did not come looking for a real answer but I will try and give it to you anyway. I'm sure there are many people in Pittsburgh who are well mannered and respectful but the vocal majority are out an out jerks(atleast thats the way the portray themselves). Some just spout nonsense about irrelivant things straight up lies. So the Steelers have won 5, 4 are in the distant past, once Rome ruled most of the known world, have you been to Rome lately? Yes Chad Johnson talks alot, thats an insiteful observation you made there. By what metric is Carson Palmer a disapointment? The superior numbers he puts up? The fact that he did it after missing no time after a career threatening cheap shot? When the Steelers shut them down? You mean that game the Bengals lost in OVERTIME (I can capitalized random words too)? A TEAM that played poorly in the weeks leading up to that one played another into OVERTIME. How exactly is that shutting down a team? Yes the Steelers had an off season after winning the Super Bowl, its embarassing and only reenforces the belief that they had gotten lucky and were not the best team the previous year. They have everything to prove every year. Unlike some people they don't live in the past.
As for Cincinnati only being fairweather fans, every city has them. There once was a man the played baseball here in Cincinnati and he was great. He gave all he had on every play. He is now one of the most despised men of sports. National forums and media outlets tear him down. When I went to the Reds opening day and they announced Pete Rose was in attendance he got a standing ovation, and that was no surprise. How fairweather is that?

Because Shittsburgh is so easy to hate. How many people that aren't fans actually like them...not many from what I have seen.
For the person that said that Cason Palmer is a disappointment or that Jon kitna had a better chance of beating Pittsburgh... are you nuts? Kitna is an average QB at best, and Carson Palmer has not diappointed. He was coming off an injury last year but look at his QB rating before that-always at/near the top. Kitna can't throw the deep balls like him and never could. I like Kitna but come on... I have watched Cincy since I was a kid and Kitna isn't that great. Oh and yes, Cincy had a very real chance of winning the game if Carson didn't get hurt. Kitna couldn't match the offense that Palmer brought and Cincy lost because of it...if you can't score you can't win, it's that obvious...don't be stupid.

You know what man, I live in Cincy, and i am a Bengals fan. And i do hate the steelers..and i whined about the hit on Carson's leg, and i watch it now and it was legal, it was legal when it happened but as a fan you complain. I think you are partly true, Its because when we lose to you it seems like its worse than losing any other game, you kept us out of the playoffs this year. Everybody that had to lose for us to get in lost and we go and lose.
And to be honest, the fans in cincy suck. They are the most fairweather fans ever. Seriously, as soon as we started winning the fan base quadrupled. Waitresses would wear the jerseys and signs hanging up in walmarts and stuff. Before recently, no one was a fan. Same goes for the reds too. And if we start losing again, the bengals fans will disappear except for a select few of us. Its sad, really. Really sad.

I'm a Green Bay fan for life and a Patriots Fan. So happy Green Bay shut them Steelers in the superbowl. Go Clay Matthews! My Patriots beat them Steelers in the NFL last year. Go Tom Brady.

Well the Bengals fans are so stupid they whine about how Palmer got hurt in that playoff game(and personally I was far more worried when I heard KITNA was coming in, Kitna has always been strong against the Steelers) so it shows they don't know much of what they are talking about. Then oh well look how he did in that ONE play, that shows they would have won. Heck look how they were LEADING at the Half. So it wasn't that Palmer was out that cost them the game.

i dont even like the bengals. I just hate the steelers cause they cheat. They think there gold and black. there really black and piss yellow. They are to cheap to have symbols on both sides of there helmets.
