Wow..lots of closed minds here! According to the polls the chicks approve of guys in skirts. (For the uninformed... a Kilt IS a skirt by definition. Just usually a tartan one). There are many non frilly skirts that look good on men. Seems the only problem is that it is the men who are not comfortable in their own sexuality are having trouble accepting change. (Women have already robbed the entire side side of the men's wardrobe and have gotten away with it). Yes... there is a trend and maybe this will be the summer guys will start wearing skirts as they would shorts for many occasions. For the rest of you...grow up and give men some options for a change!

style has constantly been a unusual and wonderful beast. Skirts for adult males is in no way a sparkling element - even different than for the mentions on kilts... I remember seeing web pages merchandising skirts on adult males as far back as a decade in the past... and have seen some college pupils adult males working around in peasant skirts on a each and every day foundation. It definitely seems atypical, while considered contained in direction of the eyes of on the instant's consumer-friendly society - yet heck, relax some thousand years, and you will discover so plenty extra adult males in skirt like and gown like clothing. Heck... gown like robes are nonetheless seen extremely general in numerous midsection eastern aspects of the worldwide... i for my area think of skirts on adult males (different than kilts worn in classic scottish form) look unusual, yet a reliable component of this is in simple terms regular societal programming... Like somebody else suggested, pants on women people was once seen very very weird and wonderful... situations substitute, social norms substitute...

NO man looks trendy in a skirt - just GAY.
The ONLY men who can wear "skirts" (no offense meant) and "pull it off" are the Scots and it`s not a "trend" it`s an heroic tradition with them.
