i am confused about a guyfriend.?

okay well one of my best friends is a guy his name is dave. we were talking on the phone like 2 or 3 times a day. And then i told him i like him and he told me he likes me back, and the next day he asked me out then like 8 days later we broke up, he promised me wed still be bffs. but that was like 3 weeks ago we broke up and weve had like 2 short conversations. Im worried we wont ever become friends again. what do you think, i kinda think it could be his gf telling him not to talk to me, but idk. And im completely over him, i even have a new bf, i just wanna be his friend again.

well i wrote him a message asking him if he thought it was weird to talk to be or if he was mad at me, he said it was weird, but that was awhile ago, idk if i tell him i dont think its wierd he might think im wierd. I should have never told him i liked him :(

he has a new gf too, so i think he is over me.

I had the same type of situation. Today i still see the guy, but rarely do we talk. Also it could be the fact that he isnt over you. That still could be a big factor too. Like My ex, he called me one day and told me he wasn't over me, and wanted another chance, because he still loved me, and needed time to think. I know you say, your over him just think maybe hes not over you.

It's tough. thats why most people say dont date your friends. You may get to be friends agian but Im not to sure because see the deal is that its hard to just be friends once you already dated.

talk to him... thats the only way to figure out whats going on in between you 2. ask him what happened and why you guys cant go back to being good friends anymore
