I am American, and proud of the U.S.A. However, something has gone terribly wrong. Almost everyone or every entity I deal with is just inhumanely stupid.
For years I treated this lightheartedly as a joke, but it's no laughing matter anymore. No one is competent. I feel like I'm dealing with retarded children most of the time. My lawyer is a dunce, my accountant can't even find an email, my fancy credit card company can't even send money correctly, etc.
I now live in Europe, and I am getting tired of the jokes about Americans. The worst part is, I have to agree with them. What the heck has gone wrong with Americans?
I have a theory: whatever it is that is making Americans fat is also affecting their mental capacity. I have a lot of foreign friends who visited the U.S., and even when they were actively playing sports and eating properly, they gained weight. Something is not quite right.

It is all in your head.
People in Europe are jealous of Americans.
Americans were stupid enough to invent cars, planes, lights, television, radio, and other creative things...
Oh yeah we are stupid.
The reason why Europeans are thin, they won't admit it,
the TAXES are too HIGH and everything and housing are
too EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!! That is why they can't afford food
and can't get fat because they are starving!!!!!!
Maybe if they get rid of that stupid Queen or other Royal Familes.

I am an American. A very proud American. I think you find what you're looking for. I meet very good, very competent people every day. If I wanted, I could focus on the mean ones,the incompetent ones, but what good would that do? Dont really want to put the incompetence off on people of another country, but it does seem that a lot of the problems we run into, at least around here, has to do with a vast difference in cultural upbringing schooling,etc. America has made room for an extremely wide variety of nationalitites, so there is bound to be problems that arise. If you really want to examine America-go to the heartland, a small town perhaps.
I think you'd find a great deal of competence and just plain decent folk. Actually, visit El Segundo, you might change your mind or at least your attitude.
Now that I have this forum, I want to say I'm getting sick and tired of people bashing America. If you base a country on how much people weigh,oh for God's sake. America has it's faults, but there is no place I would rather be-faults and all.

When you grow up being told you are in the best country in the world, and that all you do is best than what everybody else does s**t like this happens.
If you know your country isn't the best, you will fight to make it better and try to be better yourself.
Of course this is stereotyping, but most Americans are a bit "like, you know, and then like totally and whatever"

My theory is that the stupidest, laziest, most incompetent people have more children than the more intelligent, skilled responsible people. The gene pool has been peed in. There is no survival of the fittest, because you get rewarded for having children you are incapable of taking care of.

Seems that Europeans want to sit back and have the US do the dirty work.
We're fat because we don't lose our appetites by kissing Muslim ***.

Conservatism in American has stymied the free flow of ideas.
Rejecting intelligent Ideas so that they can keep ideals that keep them comfortable like eating big portions, and having a war will improve the economy. Bush economics= "lets start a war"

That is because most of the companies you were complaining about ,Outsource our jobs outside the U.S. or they hire illegals to do our jobs here.....
Your lawyer and CPA are probably one of the same and he is from New Dehli ,India .

its because of the diet and food industry working together-putting ingredients in our food to make us eat more and gain weight-so they in-turn make big profits-while americans are suffering from malnutrition so bad they are in poorer health than ever
