Yes, I bought a diamond on ebay ONE time. I got totally screwed. I said I would never ever buy a diamond from anywhere online without seeing it "in person". I would never buy a diamond without seeing it first unless you don't care about the color or flaws it may have.

I wouldn't trust anyone with a ring if you really wanted a valuable one. If you want a really nice one, just get it at a jeweler's.
