1)corsage:worn on left wrist...a white or blue corsage would look nice
2)boutonnieres are also placed on the left side. For proper placement, the stem of the boutonnieres is actually put through the small button hole in the left lapel assuming they were wearing a jacket or sportcoat. Depending on the size of the boutonnieres, you could secure the stem with a pin on the underside of the lapel.

I would recommend white or cream. I think if you went with red t would clash with the dress color ....If you go to any florist they have them in the fridge. Ask him/her for any white/cream ones. The ones ive seen have either been carnations or roses, both Very nice. Im not sure if u've heard this before but tradition around here has it that the boy is supposed to but you a Corsage and then you buy his Boutonniere! Hope this was helpful!

Just call a local florist of even grocery store with a floral dept. Tell them what color the dress is and they will do it from there. Girls always wear a wrist corsage and guys a boutineer. Also about prom, just go to have fun and everything will be fine

if i were you i would do a white rose and they have like silver leaves they can put in with it that would tie in the silver look. If you don't like that idea you can usually go to whichever florist you are using and just tell them the colors and they make a beautiful one. I recommend a rose as the flower they always seem to hold up a long time without being it water.

Carnations and/or roses are good for corsages and for boutonnieres. Yours and his can match or not. Both would be good in all white, and his would be good in red, or red and white. Yours would be good with some pink or peach in it, in my opinion. Best of luck, and have a great time! The florist can sugest what ribbons would go well -- maybe show the florist your dress.

White roses with baby's breath for the both of you. It's neutral and looks very elegant on any color clothing. I would get a wrist corsage as they can be taken off more easily if you get uncomfortable.

You can always get a white rose or carnation, tipped in silver. Carnations are cheaper, but they tend to not hold up as well. Get silver ribbon to go around the flowers.
