Obama will be the classic bait and switch candidate. They will use him to get people all fired up, on both sides, and then when things get strange in the primary, he will politely bow out to who the DNC really wants as their true candidate.

I don't plan to vote for him either but I'm not as confident as you that he will lose the election. Sure, no senator has won since JFK in 1960 but Kerry came very close in 2004. Its true he has no experience but the voters may be so angry at Bush in 2008, they'll do anything.
If the Democrats get the 12 million illegal immigrants leaglized before the second Tuesday in November 2008, then the Democratic candidate - Hillary, Obama, whoever - will definitely win. Plus we will have a de facto one party system, like Mexico did for 70 years, for the foreseeable future. Not a pretty picture, in my opinion.

The democrat party never learns. Obama just ended his chances this week when he tried to equate the massacre at Virginia Tech with "Imus and the verbal violence that was directed at young women [of Rutgers]. . . . For them to be degraded . . . that's a form of violence. It may be quiet. It may not surface to the same level of the tragedy we read about today and we mourn.", the violence of men and women who . . . suddenly have the rug pulled out from under them because their job has moved to another country." Obama then cites bad schools and bad neighborhoods as forms of violence, before finishing with, for good measure, Darfur -- accusing America of conducting "foreign policy as if the children in Darfur are somehow less than the children here, and so we tolerate violence there." Is Obama, who proudly opposed overthrowing the premier mass murderer of our time, Saddam Hussein, suggesting an invasion of Sudan? Not bad for a "candidate" who still has no platform.

Is he a true contender for President, not this go around but I believe he will figure it out and seek to picked up as a running mate and if and when that happens then he WILL become vice president under whom ever he runs with then after 8 years he could become President depending on the state of the nation.

You are lying about the African-Americans (AAs) .
The truth of the matter is that most of the people who are
members of the largely Multi-Racial Ethnic group currently
being referred to as being the African-Americans
(AAs) --- openly "accept" Barak Obama as
both a person and as an American politician.
#2)
Not only is the false accusation (that you have
so brazenly and condescendingly chosen to
present in the thinly-veiled form of a "question")
filled with nothing more than offensive and
broad-brushed stereotypes and racist biases
-- but, in addition it is very clear that someone
needs to duly inform you of the following ...
----- There is *no such thing* as a singular, homogenous
African-American (AA) "community”, but rather, there
are many different varieties of AA "communities”
and there are a great deal of diversity of
opinions and types of people live within them.
----- An excellent resource is the book:
"DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE: -- Fighting
Cultural Information about African-Americans"
(-- written by Newsweek and Meet the
Press correspondent, 'Ferai Chideya')

You right on mark and you do have great insight. The liberals and those supporting Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi are tearing this Country down with their socialist ideas, grandios attitudes, playing Robin Hood, raising our taxes to enable those not wanting to support themselves, live self-destructive life styles, demonizing and trying to prosecute anyone who opposes them.
They encourage dishonesty, immoral behavior, they suck up to our enemies, are willing to listen to any lies although they know our enemies deceive us on every level and every treaty.
They never speak out about obscenity, Christian and Jewish verbal abusers. They lie to us, they get in power and want to dismantal our military, they think we should fight global warming when we have nuclear bombs, having our food and water supply poisoned, terrorists roaming our streets, prosecuting our Border Patrol and awarding drug dealing and delivery, they want to spend our taxes on defending war criminals, illegal immigrants, prosecuting successful business like WalMart taking the secret ballot from the Union who they depend upon and use for their own political advantage.
They have done nothing but stirred up contention since they became the majority. They make a mockery of everything that is true, moral and honest in the U.S.A.

dude you got it way backwards. it is the republicans who are screwed. how many republicans are under inditement. why fire donald? Obama is prominent because he calls out the republicans on every thing they do wrong, which is something kerry didn't do. kerry tried to play nice, obama wont.
the republican party has a better chance of going to prison then getting power back.
add up the facts, denile is not just a river in eygpt.
also you conservatives you too say " democrats have no plan." the plan is loud and clear now, democrats want to end the war and set dates to pull out. and so do the iraqis for that matter shite and sunni.
you need to open your eyes and read the writing on the wall.
this is the worst administration in US history.
if it wasn't for the corprate media we would have a full blown revolution on our hands.
it's just to bad the same peeople who give us the news are the same people who make the bombs we drop on cuntrys who have stuff we want, not too mention dump millions of dollars into political campaigns on both partys.
my advice to you is broaden your research.
more about your argument:
saying there is nothing to the democrats but a ton of immoral gay rights is totally inaccurate. it's just not a fact, merely an opinion, an inccorect one at that. the deomcratic party is very diverse, look at the new senator of montana for example, very anti gay policy.
and to say the democratic party will fall like rome is just a bad analolgy. good rhetoric, but plain nonsense. the only thing that would cuase the democrtic party to fall like the romans is for america to fall like the romans.
and to say donalad duck has as good a shot as obama is just pure third grade BS. it's not a solid argument at all, just a silly opinion.
and your last sentence just flat out makes no sense. democrats are having there day in the sun becuase there about to lose???? WTF does that mean. no logic at all.
if you want people to take you seriously act serious. use logic and make sense

Obama can't win of course. But he will turn over his votes to Hillary and accept a cabinet position. If,and I pray not, the Democrats win, also look for Richardson to get a post.

It is the Republican party that is taking us down the road of ruin. I am not to worried about 2009 though, because the way things have been for the last 7 years with your boy steering the bus...the republicans have a snowballs chance next term. Can't wait for that day...I think you will hear a collective exhale of relief all over the country. I like Obama and would vote for him in a minute.

Barack Obama is a good eye catcher as a different leader since he might be the first Black President and the Democrats are cashing on it for their party advantage.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
