Yes i did thanks God more than 3 times i was awarded from my country in literature contests , besides my university awards and i am looking for more challenges in my life by God's will!
First time when i was about 13 years in a contest that included age range from 10 to 20 and about 2 million participants ! and the last time was the last year but i won't tell my age at that time;)
It didn't work with me in drawing contests although i am a good painter , so i took courses in oil painting to improve my lines.....

Boooo
I never won anything exept for few times
1- When I was in prep school, I won the prize of the school's "ideal student". The day I was supposed to receive the award, I came late and missed the morning queue. so I snuk to my classroom and tried to jump from the window without getting caught. Unfortunately, the school principal saw me. He took me to the morning queue -which was still on- in order to give me some public ***-whiping. At that moment they were calling for my name. The man got furious for knowing that "the ideal student" was jumping from the window. He gave me some whipping and sent me empty-handed. Later on they gave me the present- a pen- but I was always remebered for being the ideal student who got whipped for jumping of the window.
2-I have always written short-stories and kept them to myself. I never had the guts to show my intimate feelings to total strangers. And then, one day in college, my friends convinced me that I should submit a story in the literary contest.
I did so, but I wrote the name of one of my friends on it.
I checked for my story to see what happened, it never won anything in the short story section. However, it won 3rd place in poetry section. Yet again, it was NOT a poem...............
That day, I realised that I had no talent in writing. I also realised that my life is doomed to be nothing but a series of big jokes.
3- After graduation, I got appointed as a teacher. Then 2 years after that, they decided that they will make a test for teachers who want to work in Experimental Language Schools. I figured that this was a great opportunity since I was working in a small school in the suburbs. I took the test and came number 1 on all the teachers in my governorate. Then I got transfered to that fancy school. The money was great- tutoring wise- but there were certain requirements that I wasn't prepared for. Everybody was keen on knowing about the so-called" number 1" teacher in Ismailia. They expected someone who is punctual, well-dressed, a smooth talker, calm and nice with the students and obedient to his bosses. I was the opposite to all of that. I was what you can call " A role-model for all the horrible horrible teachers" . I got so many cuts, suspensions and deductions to the degree that I had never had any idea how much my salary was; I never got it complete.
2 years later , I got bored with teaching and decided to just leave it for people who can do it better than me.
So you see, all my trophies were bad omen to me rather than a source for good luck.
