I think anybody who did not have a real childhood and has a ton of money is bound to encounter some issues later in life.

Look at Britney Spears as another example.

I think Michael Jackson needs to just stay out of the spotlight for a while and try to just live for a while.

Maybe that can help him.

The same thing that happens to most child stars- They lose their minds!!!

They don't have much of a childhood because they are always working. They spend all of their time with adults so they lose the idea of what it means to be a kid.

Once they do grow up (or rather become the age of adulthood) they have no sense of what reality is. They have no morals or values because everything in their life was made up and part of being a "star".

You can look at the cast from Diffren't Strokes and most recently the madness that Britney Spears went (still going?) through.

Michael has no sense of what reality means for him. He thinks he is still a child, so he has an amusement park in his backyard and invites children over for slumber parties. He hates his father for what Joe put him through, so Michael is trying to remove all traces of his father from his face ( many plastic surgeries). Someone really needs to sit down with the man and teach him right from wrong. As long as he has money and is willing to spend it the people around him aren't going to say a word. They will just continue to let him run crazy as long as they get paid.

Michael Jackson obviously has insecure issues.. He does not like being who is, this is why he changed his face thinking that he would look better as a white women, I don't even consider his face a complexion. He looks like a GHOST or some type of alien.

He was so handsome, when he was a black man..

long time ago - he never got the chance to grow up normally with the pressure from his dad to perform and live out his father's american dream. as far as the surgeries, the animal friends, the skin condition.....well, every artist with a gift to entertain has their eccentricities. personally, i feel that ever since the child molestation charges at neverland over 10 years ago, and on thru the adoptions and alternatively birthed children, he never really got back in good graces with america. so when "invincible" dropped - one of the best he's ever made, in my opinion - all the promo in the world couldn't spin it to be as good as even "dangerous" or "bad" was, let alone "thriller".

i pray that he is well - all the pressure he has endured over the years would have made a lesser man hang it up a long time ago.

Losing his childhood, working since he was 5 years old, millions of fans hounding him, tabloids making up stories about him and gold diggers accusing him of heinous acts to make a quick buck!! And even through all that he has stayed strong and is still the kindest most generous man!

Interesting question !!

However, just look at OTHER young "Mega-Celebrities" and their downfall:

Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, Dana Plato, Todd Bridges, Britanny Spears... fame gets inside their brains and they got knuts !!

Michael also seems to have some abuse issues with his Daddy... and the "lost childhood"

Having a really sad life with no friends or supportive family would make you really depressed too!

I hope he gets better and staying out of the spotlight for the past couple years has helped him a bit!
