It will be the stronger base, since a base is a proton acceptor (remember that an H+ ion is just a proton). H+ ions are formed when an acid enters solution. Obviously, a strong acid would not take back its ion, because it would most likely fully ionise. Amphiprotic and Amphoteric means the same thing (It can react as both an acid and a base). The proton could go to the amphoteric substance, but it depends on how strong it is. Sice they said that the base is strong, go with A. :)
