argh! theyve gone a nasty off white colour. is there anything that can be done to save them?

i would find this hilarious if they werent mine!

There are a number of products in your supermarket to help with this - glo white for one.
Because you've messed up jeans it's gonna be harder. Don't use one sachet as they say, put several in the bath and soak them overnight. Then wash them on a high temperature with another product you can put in the washing machine, like Keep it white, if it's still not right try bleach. If it ruins them it won't matter cos they're already ruined. Bummer.

put a cup of bleach in a very hot washing cycle and let them sit for 15, 20 minutes. Agitate and then was through. It should take the black out

I have used Rit Color Remover and it has worked well. It would take 2 or 3 boxes for your washer, but instructions are on the box. Good luck.

You could try washing them in hot hot water and bleach. If that doesn't work, I suggest you dye them a color that you like.
