How long does it actually take to meet the "right" guy?

I actually don't think I ever will, lol. I am in college, and I am almost done with my freshman year and still have not met one good guy. Do you think my decision to abstain from sex is causing this? I am also so shy, and I think it comes off as disinterest. How long did it take you to meet the "right" guy?
