some communities like mine have a annual sale where everyone or almmost eveyone for three blocks gets jointly organized and has a major sell. we put out flyers two weeks before hand and put an add in our local community bi weekly paper that lets people advertise sales such as these for free. we even consult the farmers almanac to increase our chances of not getting rained on.so far it has worked 7 out of 8 times. usually a few weeks after school lets out is what we concider best because of family vacations and such. mothers of younger kids appreciate gently used clothing that they can get for their kids to play in and not worry aboout how hard they are on them or how much they had to pay. this is also the time that would be college kids are shopping around trying to find good deals for their dorm room or shared house

hello
I have been noticing yard sales right about now, or just starting
Some people would have their's in May and go throughout the summer. A community one I go to is in May. I gave you a guideline. Just gather your things you want to sell and I am sure you know the work in a yard or garage sale. I gave you a guideline here

Hi if you happen to live near a university or a 2nd level school, where ppl are setting up their own places for cheap, I'd suggest finding out the "move in" date to most residences & have your yard sale well advertised around campus.
Then have it right around that time.

Warm weather is the best time. If you can wait a few weeks, I would suggest the first weekend of next month. Government checks arrive on the first of the month. make sure you advertise it the week before.

I would place a few of the larger items in the the front, enough to make folks aware you are having a sale. Utilize the backyard with the other items.

As soonas it's warm enough to bring out the crowds. Now would work.
