How does Alex Trebek get "announced"? I need it to be pretty exact and within the next couple days. thanks!

Well, first there's a sort of whooshing sound, then the annoucer guy says, "this-is-Jeopardy!" The music starts (we all know what that sounds like), then the announcer guy says, "here's your host...Alex Trabec!"
Something like that, anyway.
You know, the guy at the top of this answer list is right. "Johnny" (the announcer guy) does say, "now here is your host of Jeopardy... Alex Trabec!

The announcer of the show goes like this "... and here is the host of Jeporady, Alex Trebek!" Then Alex says "Thank you Johnny [the announcer]".
