Is there something to spray on my grill for my electric stove to repair the finish?

I accidently melted plastic on my grill (flat, good for pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches). It came off, but so did some of the finish. It is 20 years old or more. Is there anything to spray on it to redo the finish?

There probably is, but 20 years, it does'nt owe you a thing, maybe you should just buy a new one.

If it is teflon coated, then I don't think so. If it is just plain metal, then try steel wool and clean it all off.
