Baby oil is very dangerous to use when in the sun. I prefer mystic tan. In fact, I love it. Celebrities do too. I'm 30 and people say I look 21 - most likely because I haven't ruined my skin with excessive tanning. Friends who tan year round look so much older than me. I know, I know you have heard it before but I swear it is so true. Not only is it healthier but so much better for your looks. I am thankful now.

I don't think baby oil tans. It does moisturize your skin though. If you want a tan without causing damage to your skin, I recommend one of the natural tanning lotions that do it gradually without turning everything yellow!

i used baby oil to tan few times and didn't see any problem. i figured it's gentle than regular tanning products for sensitive skin. i use sunblock to part where i don't want uneven tan.

It's oil, so staying out in the sun with it will literally fry your skin - making your skin age faster.
