I have an 05 rsx everytime I go out with friends to make my car sound nice i remove the tube that connects to?

THE AIR INTAKE BOX. mY CAR SOUNDS SO MUCH NICER AFTER IM DONE I PUT IT BACK. IS THE THING IM DOING HARMFUL TO MY ENGINE, BASICALLY WITH NO CAI MY CAR SOUNDS LIKE IT AND THE PERFORMANCE CHANGES ALSO.

That air filter isn't there for looks. You're sucking dirt, water and grit into the engine. You also screw up the tuning by messing up the intake pressure.

Get a new air filter and stop unhooking it.
