Ok ppl...so I got notification in the mail, and it gave me instructions that i was supposed to call a number the friday before...wellllll I called the number and they asked for a group number and I don't know where my notification is! the jury duty is for tomorrow!
What Do I Do?!?!?!?!
I really don't want a bench warrant...

There will be administrative staff to help you - should be able to pull up your info by your name & provide you w/the proper documentation.
Went to jury duty last month & there were a truck load of people there who'd lost their paperwork.
Go - it's better than a bench warrant.

If I were you, I would show up at the courthouse. In my area they would put out a warrant for your arrest. Nobody needs that kind of drama. Then explain to them what happened. Good Luck!

Do your duty as a citizen! My social studies teacher said that if you don't give a legitimate reason for missing jury duty and you miss it, you can go to jail!
Call them again.

Sounds like you already know what happens. Try calling and asking for a delay.

Don't sweat it...they have extra's called in...your covered, they just try to scare people to come in....I miss it all the time...
But I have an excuse...I travel and I have a passort to prove it...
