Most independent shops can get big tanks at a great price. Try the local fish store, they might surprise you!

I would go to WalMart. a 29 gal tank will run about $99 for the tank and about $60 for the stand. You can get a 55 gal tank for about $150 and the stand for $99. If you want bigger than that I would look through the local classifieds. Get your fish through a pet or fish store. You will have better luck. Generally walmart doenst have a good track record for carrying quality stock or having trained staff to care for them.
