while I avoid writing my paper?
It's only a little paper.. why must I procrastinate? Why can't I understand the material? Why does my son keep asking me how many words I've written? Why is the tv too loud? Why can't I think? WHY!?
Whew.. I feel better.. :)

My mom always said, "Motivation follows action." I think once you sit down and start working on your paper you will be able to focus and all that other nonsense will get pushed to the farthest corner of your mind. Start jotting down some notes and come up with an outline for your paper. Then you can write your opening paragraph--with thesis statement--before you take a break for dinner.
I hope, for your sake, that this paper is not due tomorrow. If so, my prayers go out to you.

I procrastinate, too, no matter how small an assignment is. I think that is how a genius really works. We can't help it!! I got a paper due by tomorrow, but I can't pass up watching Beetlejuice for the 20th time man!!!

wow I have done everything to avoid writing this paper...but time is not standing still for me I will make some tea and kill this paper....Lets go Girl lets get this paper done than we can have guilt free procrastination

I know what you're talking about. I always procrastinate, I just finished typing my outline for my speech that's tomorrow. And it's always noisy in my house, but I do my best to finish my work. Hope you do great on your paper!!!

You can waste all the time you have left until its due. If that's what you want. Who told you you don't have anything of importance to say? I know you do, but, YOU need to know it, so prove yourself, and, silence the critics. If you like, you can send me a rough draft, and I'll let you know how good you can really be...
