Maybe you are just one of those 'loner' types!!! If it bothers you work on your interpersonal skills so you can be as comfortable around everyone as you are when you are by yourself.... JUST remember that those habits are hard to change because you repeat them . try to change your schedule (and stick with it , it takes time) , maybe join a gym, some group or a club that has the similar interests , you'll be amazed how much fun you can have with people that have same interests as you !!!

I'm the same way. I stick to myself and only need a handful of friends. I always say, "If I can't get em all in my car, I don't need em". Who cares if they don't like you?, they don't even know you. So long as you're happy, the hell with em.
