Or is it just me. It seems the writing of the Simpsons has gone down hill very badly over the last couple of years.
So much so I find it painful to watch!
Too many issue shows and Ricky Gervais was awful too.

The Ricky Gervais episode was awful - self serving tripe we've come to expect from him lately, but I don't believe it is anywhere near as crass as The Family Guy.
I love both programmes but The Simpsons is far superior - Groening needs to realise we don't need special guest stars, just Springfield.
