Given that the 'new' climate & changes will be causing severe drought in the SW and the worst in california in over a 100 years ,
And causing storms that wipe out fruit crops in the south ,
And the bee population (which pollentates crops) has had a radical decline . . .
And other issues , I suspect an Increase in food production will take a miracle !
Maybe write on how to compensate for the water shortages in california and an alternative to bees ?

kill all fat people lol. no i'm kidding. Since we have more improved technology, some farmers are going out of business because markets already have enough food from OTHER farmers. What we can do is allow all faremer's food to be used in other ways as food. Another Idea could be like we slaughter only male pigs because we can use the female pigs to produce more and more pigs. This doesn't go only for pigs it can go for cows and such. hope this helps!

Ok...right now there is a problem with honey bees dying...millions of bees are dying and scientists cant figure out what the problem is....bees pollinate over 30% of the nations crops and without the bees, we will have to rely on other countries for food.

Percentage of U.S. farmland devoted to beef production: 56
Pounds of grain and soybeans needed to produce a pound of edible flesh from feedlot beef: 16
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cause of global warming: greenhouse effect
Primary cause of greenhouse effect: carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels
Fossil fuels needed to produce meat-centered diet vs. a meat-free diet: 3 times more
Percentage of U.S. topsoil lost to date: 75
